Help DVD player doesn't reconize a particular DVD disc

I have a Lite-On 832S dvd burner.

Right now i'm trying to burn one of my dvd's which is part of a series, which contains about 16 dvds.

Now my problem is i just can't seem to burn the 2nd and 3rd dvd discs but the rest burn fine.

All of them play in the dvd player fine on my dvd player including the 2nd and 3rd discs which can't be burn't on the dvd burner.

The computer reconizes the dvd's as empty discs, e.g blank disc.

All my burning software and windows explorer can't reconize there is a disc in there. I also tried extracting the image with ISO Buster but it also reconizes it has a empty disc and returns the error message:

The Primary Volume Descriptor (PVD) is unreadable.
Read Error at address: 16

I have also disalbed the region protection by using the firmware. So i don't know what the problem is as i can play both on the dvd player but i can't even reconize those 2 partciular dvd discs on the computer. Let alone burn them.

Anyone know how i can burn them?

Name of the DVD and software used?

It is a chinese series 100% Senorita.

i used alcohol to try burn it, but it can't be burned with any software as all of the software i used such as nero, clone dvd all reconize it as a blank c.d.

and windows explorer also reconizes it as a blank c.d.

only those 2 dvd's out of 16 other dvds don't work.

but they work fine in the dvd player just won't work/burn on the pc.

Try running the latest AnyDVD from Slysoft.com in the background. See if you can drag the VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD to your hard drive.

ok, i've given that a try and it still doesn't reconize the c.d when its inserted.

It'll either keep trying to read it with nothing happening or will eventually stop and just say its a blank c.d.

Has anyone experienced this type of problem before?

Should i try another dvd drive or burner?

ok i tried a creative 6X dvd-rom and it worked, so does anyone know why some dvd's don't work in some dvd rom drives but work on others.

While they work on all types of dvd players.

Some drives are better reading bad data than others. You may want to clean the bad discs. Look for scratches, pits, etc....
