i’d like to know how many cd my old SCSI Plextor 8x burned…so i’m looking for a tools or a software that accesing into firmaware could give me this info !
Does it exist? Could you help me?

Well there is the theory that speculates that the eeprom of a drive is modified after each burn to possibly improve quality or change power calibration. This theory hasn’t been proved and even if it was true I dont think the drive would keep a running tally of burned discs.
