Reuters reports that American HDD manufacturer Seagate is cutting 1,600 jobs. The company hopes to save about $100 million annually by letting go about 3% of its employees.

And the Management gets a Bonus for making 100mills right? That’s they way to go cut the employees and claim you made a profit… I know Delta Airlines did that… :Z

Does Seagate manufacture SSDs? If not, that’s probably a huge part of why they are loosing profits.

You know what could save Seagate a buttload of money each year? Cutting the pay for upper-level management. After all, they’re probably still sucking money from Seagate from the last lay-off “bonus”. And the one before that. And the one before that…
