How do I test if my HD is fast enough for 52327s@52x or 48x?
any utility in Nero for that purpose? I only have that installed.

use hd tach to test the speed of your hd
if it is a modern drive then it will be fast enough
Nero will check it for you. Go to preferences - cache and run the speed check.
got it, I think 40MB per second is good enough.
will test again when I am running lots of applications in the background.
