According to hardware.info Intel’s next generation CPUs “Haswell” seem to have problems when waking up from S3 sleep mode. For example this would result in blank pages displaying in Acrobat Reader PDFs or video playback stopping, rather than continuing. A quick fix would be to restart the failing application.
It seems strange that such a bug would get through Intel’s supposedly vigorous validation process undiscovered. Especially following so close behind the SATA bug that P67 launched with.
