I have a dell inspiron 1721 with original hdd in it120 gig. I use Avast antivirus, have malware antimalware,I tried using Trendmicro, and kaspersky antivius removal tool. I tried flashing my bios. I tried wiping my HDD with two different programs killdisk and boot and nuke. I have tried installing a different operating system " Linux" and the problem still happen. I was trying some software a hard drive regenerator trying to fix a none working hdd. I was given the hdd in question, that is ware the infection can from I think, I'm not 100% sure. The problem is with time zones, it is on GMT international date line west and I can't change it. When you go to change the time the clock starts spinning around I have figured out how to get the right time is in bios. I use comodo dragon. When you go to view bookmarks it flashes down for a tenth of a second and that it. In IE the window drops down but the slide bar on the right acts like it's on a spring and the other drop down window are affected in other windows like if you want to view operating system when you want to get updated for the proper OS you can't chose the right OS. It is affecting the way I logon I always make mistakes and it affecting window media player it just keep playing 2 different song. All the antivirus and malware never sees a problem. When I go to research it all it does is tells me how to change my time zone. I begining to think I have a virus on my MB but everything I read says you can't get a virus in it. My brother knows someone who can write a virus for a MB. I would appreciate any help with my problem.
