Hardware based Encryption Help

Hardware based Encryption Help.

Our company basically uses Iron Key and Network storage, and specifies that what ever is used should be FIPS-2 compliant. However we have many users that have 100s of drives they should not.

Some of these are WD External Drives that have 128 bit AES Hardware encryption.

I have been trying to find out with limited success scouring the internet if these WD drives or 128 bit AES hardware encryption they use are FIPS-2 compliant.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
