I just posted the article Harddrives hidden secret..

Motherboards, CPU, system and graphicscards temperature.
We know that we can see, what their internal temperature is.

But not many knows that you are able to see the harddrives internal…

Then you Harddrive is obsolete. Most new drives today has that feature.

Useful util cause some drives tend to get really hot.

what temp. is really high for a Hard Drive? At what temp should i look at getting a new fan

:frowning: Only supports IDE Harddrives… For the guys like me using SCSI, we have to wait and hope for SCSI support :stuck_out_tongue:

Downloading an EXE always scares me. can’t he atleast zip it up? Makes me feel better virus wise! :slight_smile:

ohh IDE only drives. I need one for my scsi 10k drive. That would be better than just feeling it to see if it is hot.

i have 2 new Maxtor 60 GB drives and on HDTemp RC1 it says no Hardware suported. :frowning:

If it damn well supported SCSI it wouldn’t have said ‘The Ide cable doesn’t just send data, it also carries the diagnostic information send from your drive.’ A SCSI cable doesn’t carry this data!
