Hard disk cluster size for storing DVD rips

I’m ripping my DVDs to hard disk in file format, not Iso and I was wondering what cluster (block) size should I use on the hard disk partition I’m going to store them on? I don’t want to waste space by using too large a cluster size but also don’t want any stuttering problems caused by too small a cluster size. I know that for big files like Mpegs 64k clusters are preferred. Should I use this size or should I use the standard 4k clusters. Thanks.

Most of the information from ripped DVDs will be long files, so there is an argument for using the largest cluster size (if all you are doing with that disk is saving that sort of data).
