Symantec has been rather … Buried … In recent years.
Is it at all possible that this whole situation is a ruse to get publicity for symantecs products?

5~6 yr old software code couldn’t have alot in common with current products.

Most likely to scare more users away…and back to MacFee…that which is also a joke…neither one of those does any better then the free and less expensive A/V program like Avira, AVG, forgot the third but those three are one most quoted. You be surprise codes may sound like they change but the more they change the more they stay the same.

Your not kidding my sister-in-law keeps loading that bloatware and keeps blaming me for installing bad software when she did it herself. I recently fixed and reinstalled their computer and guess what she does after I tell her I got a good A/V and M$ defender working again she puts that bloatware right back on again and then calls me and tells me what did I do to there computer it’s not working again. I was like what did you do and so I told her I am done fixing those stupid mistakes you keep making take it to the shop and pay them $100 of dollars so that will teach you a lesson about being stupid enough to listen to their advertisements about how good their program are-so I left and went home.

Forgot to mention I have M$ defender and Avira and guess what she tries to lie to me and I saw Norton and Macfee installed 4 A/V programs no wonder their flash didn’t work…adobe flash was so bogged down it refused to run or play flash programs…makes you wonder how smart those so called smart people are…
