I got a barebones itx H61 box (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856119065 for $59.99) and I'm going to make another HTPC from it. Now I'm looking for a processor. My question is does the H61 chipset support QuickSync? If so, I'll get a QS processor like another i3-3225. If not I'll just use a $45 Celeron in it. Either way, it'll be a HTPC...
So it looks like the QuickSync is processor dependent. Now, do I want another i3-3225 for $109.99 (after rebate): http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i3-3225-Dual-Core-Processor-Cache/dp/B0093H8H8I/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1354684770&sr=1-1&keywords=i3+3225
or a cheapo Celeron: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=50001157&IsNodeId=1&Description=celeron%20sandy%20bridge&name=Intel&Order=PRICE&Pagesize=50
