GSA-H20N gone mad :Z, not burning :(

Hello guys!

I’ve bought a HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H20N like 2 weeks ago… Nero, PowerProduer and PowerDVD came together with the hardware. installed them.

i’ve burned a couple of data dvds, also some music. and i also worked a bit with dvd shrink to burn some dvd video. all worked fine

then it started failing to burn almost everything. well, i made burning a 70mb file for testing, but a file larger than 70~150mbs it screws up.

i’ve failed burning like 4~6 dvds and still im getting the same error.

the funny thing is that a week ago it was burning everything flawlessly, tip-top, perfect. and then this started happening (?).

however, it reads fine.

there’s a log from the last recording atempt (simulation actually), however, the other logs were almost the same, i just ran out dvds:

i would really apreciate some help if at all possible from you guys, because i dont have any ideia why this is happening,

Hi, welcome to CDF!

First off, try some different media: VDSPMS - AB 02 isn’t the best mediacode (don’t know what brand you bought it under).

Plus there’s this

Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)

…which also leads me to suspect it may be media-related. LGs really do like good media.

For the safest bet, try some Verbatim discs…and you might try disabling Multisession burning in Nero too

you might also try uninstalling InCD.
