Gsa 4160B problems

First of all excuse me for my english, I´m spanish.
I´ve bought this burner a few days ago and i can´t burn correctly a dvd (i can burn cd´s). It starts burning but in process (2%, 9%…60%) stops and i must reiniciate the pc.
I have P4 1.5Ghz
512 ram
9Gb free on HD
motherboard i845.
I execute nero speed but it´s irregular.
I have used Hyundai (8x), princo and samsung (4x) medias .
Over 15 dvd crashed…
Waht can i do?
thank you

Maybe your GSA-4160B doesn’t like your PC.

What does work? (Other than CD.)

I´ve just create a data dvd with nero speed(i´ve never done it) with a hyundai media 8x. If it´s real, i can´t understand why dvd´s crashes.

I forgot to say firmware is 302A.

Same media (hyundai 8x).
I don´t know what´s the problem…
Please, excuse any possible inconveniences

Your burst rate is 41MB/s.

Your Nero CD-Speed results look OK to me. The “crash” must have been caused by some software problems.

Samsung and Hyundai are both big companies, actually, #1 and #2 companies in South Korea with yearly sales of 130 billion and 80 billion in USD respectively, but they don’t produce optical storage media. Princo is one of the least respected CD/DVD recordable media maker.

Unless there’s a great need for it, don’t use any of the media products from them.

i have done a speed measuring with nero and it gives 2.9x , then started to burn at 4x. media is a verbatim 8x, at 18% nero stops burning though time continue. I must stop the process because of it doesn´t continue.
I really don´t know what happens or what i must do. My first burnes insn´t a great experience…
I´ve have no programs installed and i did a format c: two days ago…
Please, has anybody the same problem??

But your first CD-Speed test burns look perfect.

it was the nero data dvd, if it is any other dvd it´s no so good…
This is another CD-Speed test (8x). Nero said origin data speed is too late, i will pass data to the other partition an format this part, though i have burned from this part…

first CD-Speed test error, this is a music dvd (mp3 and wma)
thanks

i do a speed measuremet and it´s 3x because speed o source data is too slow, then nero starts burning at 4x and dvd breaks.
i copy the log for if you see somethig extrange. I cancelled this process before burning
