Is it also compatible with the 9100i series??
Or do we have to wait for specific patch?

Thank you!

The firmware also updates the hp7570i to a 8100i with all it`s features, that means from 2x to 4x rec speed, and from 16x to 24x read speed.
This is not a roumor, I have done this myself and kind of doubtfully tried it…IT WORKS !!!

Hi everyone !
First: this firmware is not really new? I’ve got it two months ago
Second: 80 min CDs are now supported but seems that it’s not the case of overburning. I tried to edit the registry but Nero doesn’t understand and always check my burner so everytime, it disables Overburning. Any solutions ?

THX !

Is there a solution for my HP 7200+ So that i can overnrun & use 80 min. cd’s ???

#16

Could someone tell me on how many minutes we can put the markers in Nero

Thanx

#17

what version of nero do u have? the newest on supports overburning and 80min cd’s…i have only put the marker up 2 the 80min mark, that is enough for almost anything out there…

#18

Hi,

Can anyone confirm whether this hacked firmware actually allows the HP8100i to overburn?

I suspect this may be a question out of ignorance, BUT, is there any possibility of doing a hack of this firmware to allow true raw read and write modes for the HP8100i

Thanks,
Uncle Bobby
