GPU heat monitoring

I have a Asus 4850 gpu and the original cd that came with the gpu has some cool programs on it. One of them being Smart Doctor which monitored gpu heat and changed fan speeds accordingly to how hot the card was. It also gave me the ability to overclock extremely easily.

However, I just installed Fallout 3 and the asus gpu utilities somehow interfere with the game. So I had to uninstall the utilities. Now I dont have anything that monitors my gpu heat and sets fan speeds accordingly.

I would normally hear the fan speed up when I ran graphically intensive programs, now I dont hear the fan and have been seeing an increasing drop in frame rate.

Are there third party software out there that will allow me to do monitor my gpu heat and control fan speeds.
