Gordion Knot & XViD?

is it possible to use XViD within Gordion Knot? if not can you suggest a similair package or do you know if GK will soon implement this!? thanks guys!

What do you mean use xvid within gknot? If you mean encoding, of course you can. If you mean loading xvid-encoded avi files, yes you can do it with avs script. For encoding, I’m sure it’s in guide and tutorials sub-forums. To learn avs scripting, head to www.avisynth.org.

Not directly, but using Gknot is still the best way to set up AVIsynth files automatically. After that, pick the settings in VirtualDub.

Now that its source is open, I think Gordian Knot will support XviD pretty soon, though.

I think the guy who did most of the work on GKnot quit and rel’d the source under GPL. Hopefully someone will add XviD support :(.

In case anyone is interested; XviD support was added in v0.28 alpha9… I think, maybe alpha 8?.
