With the terrible happenings in France I can see this app could easily be used as a remote trigger for an explosive device. Is that obvious, or am I imaging it.

It’s back. Google supposedly stated it was a mistaken removal.

blah blah…they put it back because they were going to get a law suit from the developer and they had no evidence to support what they did. Google most likely did the NSA bidding but found out otherwise the developer and users weren’t going to be quiet.

It sounds to me like this could have been a bad DMCA 512 takedown. If so, since the developer counter-noticed the original takedown notice Google presumably received, that would explain why the app was made available again.
