Google pack or something downloading, i dont want it

i dont know if anyone can help me here , but i have a very annoying problem where something is downloading constantly in my temp folder - C:\Documents and Settings\Dean\Local Settings\Temp\ i can see these files BIT1.tmp ,BIT2.tmp ,BIT3.tmp , BIT4tmp etc… each one is 34 mb in size and there are currently 6 of them so far . I only have dial up 56k internet , so this is killing my internet access. and i have heard that this could be around 800mb when its finished downloading. once one finishes doqwnloading the next one starts and so on …

i dont want this and i really dont know how it started to get on my pc , as i am very aware of things i install, can any please tell me how to stop this from downloading , everytime i delete those bit.temp files they re-appear and start downloading again . this has been going on for 2 weeks now . desperate i am .

thanks

Seems to be a virus/spyware
I found this so far:

i thought originally it was something to do with msn messenger, so i emailed them, and after weeks or trying to work it out they said it is google pack that is downloading . so i contacted google pack , and have had no replay from them . i looked at those 2 threads you put up and its definatley now a virus or malware . so i am still stuck with it downloading .

spelt some words wrong in my above reply .
