I just posted the article Google explains how Chrome OS will print.

Connecting a printer isn’t easy when the computer can’t install software or lacks the necessary input, but Google reckons it has found a solution.

This has been needed for a long time. Everyone wants the ability to print from web-connected devices. Let’s hope the solution is well-architected, executed, and user-friendly. With Google behind it, I bet it will be a stellar success.

How nice, all my confidential prints are in the cloud.

I’m sure it will be locked down per account. As in, not everyone will be able to view everyone else’s print jobs. I welcome this technology, sounds very awesome and very useful. Can’t wait to be able to print from a smartphone.

Right up there with Butterscotch City.

Oh it’s wonderful technology to not depend on stupid drivers, but i don’t like the idea getting all my stuff into the cloud at all.

Right, the non-driver, print to any printer capability is what’s exciting. I definitely see your point about Google being able to see, store and access all your print jobs, which could be concerning, but for casual use, the service sounds awesome.

There’s always this way…
But what if its a sunny day
Then the cloud gets back vacuumed in to the Googleplex. Your porn print jobs will reside for another rainy day to happen.

Look! A rainbow!
