The Acceptable Ads Platform that was launched yesterday by Eyeo, the developer of Adblock Plus, is obstructed by parties which were claimed to be partners. Eyeo claimed yesterday that it used technology from advertising giants Google and AppNexus for the beta of its Acceptable Ads Platform.

Dissension in the ranks does not bode well for this program. I’m guessing it will either fail, or Eyeo will be pulling some major strings to make this program work.

Either way, ABP has yet to put “privacy” on it’s list of criteria. Therefore, I can’t say I’m a fan of these “acceptable” ads.
