Hi, I’m looking for a good compact camers with good battery life, and good images. I have a fuji finepix F10 which I think is good camera, I’ve had it a few year and was thinking of an upgrade, I can spend about £250
IMO, about any Canon compact in that price range will do you well.

I am very happy with my canon ixus70, after 2 years of use is still taking good pictures.
Most cameras in that price range should be reasonable, but just one thing, don´t get fooled into thinking that lotsa pixels will mean better images…it usually doesn´t. These cameras are using very small sensors and software to create the extra pixels…this can often mean a “muddy” image, and chews up space in the memory card.
Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Sony, Fuji…these are the biggest names and you should take the one you most like the feel of…and use it!
Thanks for your advice, the panasonic Lumix TZ6 seems to be what I’m looking for.
