GH22NP20 Takes Indefinite Time To write

Software : Nero 9.2.5.100
Media : Moserbaer DVD Recordable 4.7GB 16x

I bought a new LG drive but I can’t write anything onto it. I make a compilation and then select ‘burn’. It then proceeds to the following screen and stays that way indefinitely, every time I have to Abort the procedure. It however reads CDs and DVDs without any error. I’m attaching the drive info using the Nero Tool and the LOG of my latest attempt to burn.
I was burning data onto the DVD using files on my hard drive.

I had the lightscribe one and it would not even burn verbatim 16X +R at any speed other than 16X and 22X. Did a damn good job at 22X. It wouldn’t burn anything at 8X not TY T02 or 8X MB, UNTILL I found firmware 104 then it was a good burner at any speed. Check the LG forum to find 104FW. It wasn’t on LG’s website USA. Some one found it on Austraila or UK web site.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply, I’ll try that out.
