[qanda]This thread is about the LG GGC-H20L. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Installed this drive recently in Windows Vista 32 bit. I am operating with an eVGA 780i SLI motherboard. Using the SATA cable I plugged it in, booted up, Vista says hello, and I start installing software using the drive. No trouble! I then go to play some music. I get through 1:18 seconds of every audio CD. Then the rest of the CD reads as 0:00. I tried numerous CDs, the same thing.
Will not recognize HDDVD, BR at all either. However, it will recognize DVDs. I'm completely baffled but that. I've read a few forums but am at a loss of where to begin troubleshooting this thing. Vista does read it, properly (HD-DVD ROM Drive), and I did update the driver to the latest this morning. I'm tired and quite sick at the moment, so another brain helping work this out would increase my chances of success and decrease my frustration
