Another thing we have to take under consideration: How many people who want cell phones don’t have one already? I commonly see grade school kids as young as 8 years old who already have a cell phone.

My little brother, who is 9 years old, has had a cell phone for almost one year already.

Just because global mobile phone sales will drop a single digit in 2009, don’t expect to see companies limit what products they make for cell phones…
