Gamestop pulls Deus Ex game after OnLive coupon removal controversy.

The retailer was opening every PC copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution to pull out the included coupon for a free OnLive version of the game. The story has now gotten even more interesting as GameStop has decided to simply not stock the PC version of the title at all.

I agree that GameStop did the wrong thing–I mean really, opening the game to remove something, anything, and then selling it? I can’t believe anyone would buy a ‘new’ open game in the first place.

There are plenty of other places to buy games.

Gamestop already opens new games and claims it is new. You can never tell if the game was used or not.
