Not sure about your computer. Windows XP is not the issue. Perhaps you have a CD Drive? The program comes on a DVD-ROM. This means you have to have a DVD-Drive that reads DVD disks.
For example, can you put a DVD Movie into that drive and view a movie? If not, that that is the reason.
