Funny thing about music copying

in 80 years, copy rights will expire, and thus all music after 80 years will become public domain, so ecentally all music that is over 80 years should have no copy rights, which means in 80 years all that money the riaa has waisted tostop music downloading over the p2p network which resulted in most users going undergground in non p2p networks will be absulutly worthless.

i just thought it was funny that in 2085 all current music will be copy right less, enjoy riaa

Incorrect, it is 80 years after the death of the copyright owner.

Actually each country has different laws regarding copyright and record companies are constantly trying to have the laws changed to extend the period of time before works enter public domain -and have been quite sucessful so far (D.M.C.A.).
