I was unable to find the DVD+R/RW codes.

I used winhex…looking into it…strange

Update: No I can’t find any +R/RW media :confused: in any of the firmwares I have.

Must be doing something wrong. Tried lokking at position 000c0000 as suggested, tried searching for all types of DVD+R media codes…nothing…:rolleyes:

They are still at offset $C0000, but the +R/RW codes are in a different format, so to find RICOH look for the hex bytes 52 00 49 00 43 00 4f 00 48 00

Just saw your update. So you are the next one who need glasses :). Maybe you just looked into the installer binary, then you have to add the firmware startoffset of $43B38, so the codes start at $103B38 in the installer binary.

Can some one talk me through this please step by step from start to finnish as I don’t under stand how to see the codes. If some one would explane this it would be great help to me and others.
