Free Camtasia Studio

http://www.downloadsquad.com/2007/11/22/techsmith-offers-free-camtasia-studio-download/

I downloaded and installed it a couple days ago; works fine on my system and does everything I need in a screencasting app.

Thanks! :flower:

Hi
Didn’t seem to want to install on my Vista Ultimate 64 bit system.

I downloaded and installed it, now just need to learn how to use it.

Thanks for the software… When I see free I jump on it… but what does this do?

Hi
Take a look here.

Not surprized Vista doesn’t support it as version 3 is probably a few years old. But it works fine on my XP system and considering this app normally sold in the $250+ price range, it is a great deal!

http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp
Thanks for that link. I checked it out and went through the tutorials for v5 (not the free version). Maybe it could help with some of the things I like to do such as movie processing, but they didn’t cover any of those areas. Camtasia looks more useful for setting up instructional aids.

Its main purpose is screencasting – taking live screen grabs for the purpose of creating training tutorials. Although it will edit video there are much better apps out there for that…
