Until now many Fox shows have appeared on Fox.com or Hulu the day after they air. As of August 15th all that will change. Protecting your crap again Rupert?
All this makes me want to do is not purchase any Fox made movies or TV shows, and just look for free online venues for viewing. All of this “anti-piracy” bullshit that these big companies are doing is just to screw over the little guy and keep all of the millions of dollars in their pockets instead of treating the customers like customers. I’m not saying to give it away for free, but dear gosh when they can sell the exact same movie or TV show series for 1/3 to 1/4 of it’s regular price a year later and still make money, why are they released which such a high price tag to begin with? Ok, my rant is done.
@jbkingjr I hear you. Fox is one of the worst when it comes to excessive DRM implementations and other annoying policies. This is definitely going to lead to higher levels of “unofficial” consumption of TV show content.
Maybe someone would actually watch their programs if there were not more commercials than program. Do these companies have half a brain? Decrease the number of mind numbing and repetive commercials and people will watch. Increase the number of annoying repetive commercials and people will watch sans commercials on the Internet. Get a clue!
So true josephwfrancis!

I agree, Take The Simpsons for example out of that 30 minutes you may get 15 minutes of the show. You don’t need 5+ minutes of commercials. I hope that when September comes Teranova won’t be only 30 minute show as it’ll be an hour long I think?
When the prices go down I buy movies and shows, when they go up I find other solutions so it’s a simple problem.
I refuse to pay the kind of money they wanted for Blu Ray movies when they were first released and I surely wont buy over priced low res downloads that may be loaded with commercials either.
