I am having problems formatting blank CD-RWs with InCD on my WinXP system pc. After formatting, the disks are labelled as UDFRDR rather than FS-UDR and show that they are full though only holding 168K of data. I am unable to write to these disks, rendering them essentially useless.
Disks previously successfully formatted as FS-UDR continue to permit writing to and reading from without any problem.
At first I thought I had a bad burner but I have two identical burners installed (both Lite-on) and this problem persists on both drives. The blank disks are not the problem either as I’m experiencing the same symptoms with a different batch of Imation disks.
Can anyone tell me what’s going on here and more importantly how to fix the problem???
