I have a no. of problem w/ all 3 s/w over the weekend:
- I burned 2 Blu-Ray, no problem, it works nicely, then when I burn the 3rd Blu-Ray, 1 of my files is > 2GB, it’s about 3.9GB. Nero said I have to use UDF. I picked UDF, and Nero ends up burning my files w/ the creation dates instead of the using modified date.
- this is a piece of junk. It has numerous bugs. First, it can’t calculate the total amt. of BD-R space correctly. I can fit 93 files of just under 47 E+9 bytes. Cyber can only fits the very same 90 files, if I manage to fit the remaining 3 files, it says I’m out of space.
Then it only support UDF 2.0. Microsoft said they don’t use UDF 2.0 under XP PRo. They only support UDF 2.01
Windows XP supports UDF 1.02, 1.5, and 2.01.
and on top of all of the aobve, it crash my BD-R disc half way, now my BD-R is toasted. Get some stupid disc error.
- ImgBurn, on the UDF Bd-R burn, I need to fit 94 files from various sub-dir in the disk. This software has a very primitive interface that it’s hard to see the files that I added in that tiny rectangle display box about 1/2 the size of your std. business card. Almost as if the s/w think I only need to add a few files in a Bd-R.
In the end, I use Attribute MAgic to change the modified date to creation date, and use nero to re-burn the 3rd Blu-Ray disc again.
