I am developing websites over SSD storage. Does anybody think this is a bad idea (because of them read-write cycles)?
I might save a file over a 100 times a day, if each save counts as a whole cycle then I'd say I'm pretty much limiting the lifespan of the SD card.
The SD card itself is a 4Gb Class 4 Toshiba and I'm using it on an Acer Aspire One running Fedora 10, which has been configured to work with SSD according to online HOWTOs.
Then again I am not totally sure that the OS is doing all those procedures in which the wear level gets distributed along the SD card.
Can anybody shed some advice regarding this?
