An Italian Windows blog has found the first known extension for Edge, the default browser on Windows 10. The description of the extension indicates also Edge for Windows 10 Mobile will support extensions.

Fwiw, this is moving way too slow. Not that I care as IE/Edge are my offline only browsers blocked in the firewall and so plugins are really not interesting.

Still it indicates that when Edge finally gets the needed support for this and that, most people will be so used to use IE on Windows 10 that one could ask if they will ever make the switch.

You know what will make users of Firefox and Chrome switch? Making it possible to port addons from other browsers. That way, instead of Firefox and Chrome addons, users will get… um… the same thing they’ve already got.
