Firmware (HSG8) for original 811S?

I purchased a 811S exatly 3 months ago and ebverything went fine, but now nearly every RicohJPN gets more than 200 PI with Kprobe… :frowning:

i asked a friend of mine and he redirected me to the firmware HSg8, but this isn’t a firmware for the Liteon, or is it???

anybody made some experience with HSG8???

HSG8 is for OEM drives. It will work on your 811S though.

and does it bring better results as HS0P ???

The best answer for that is to test it out for yourself and see. You can always go back afterwards if it doesn’t help any.
I’ve also heard HS0K is quite good for +R/+RW media.
