Republican National Committee advertises on E-Donkey

BadReligionPR used our news submit to tell us
he spotted a story over at the Inquirer
that reveals that filesharing software,
when not being whipped sensless in the courts for copyright lawsuits, is handy
for trolling for votes! It's mind boggling to accept, but apparently the
Republicans are running banner ads on E-Donkey!

ONE OF THE major themes for politicos of all stripes this year is digital rights management. When you and I think about it, we think of annoying things that keep you from exercising your rights and using the media that you legally purchased. Fair use? Not anymore. Does this mean E-Donkey is the official file trading network of the Bush administration? Is this open war on Hollywood liberals? Tune in next week for another episode of "How the Money Flows". Next week's episode, "Condi, Ed Gillespie did WHAT?"

Like the old song, Ball of Confusion says: Vote for
me, I'll set you free. This is very odd, as I always thought the Democrats used
a donkey as a mascot. But apparently, the Republicans have mounted the E-Donkey
and dug a set of Mexican spurs in it. Thanks for the news BadReligionPR, this really shows how low politicians
can stoop.
