Mozilla has removed the Firefox Extension Web of Trust (WOT) from addons.mozilla.org, the official download location of Firefox extensions. The extension was caught selling privacy sensitive data to third parties.

Gone from the Chrome store now too. Personally I thought WOT was a waste of space anyway, this just backs that up! :wink:

Yikes! A user-safety addon baned for selling badly-anonymized privacy-violating data… how awful! The WOT people should be ashamed. I guess sometimes you can’t trust even the best of them.
