Future versions of Firefox will warn users for add-ons that slow down the browser. The new feature was discovered by Sören Hentzschel in an early test version of Firefox 38.

Hmm, I have seen this feature on IE before. This will certainly improve the security a bit.

My main concern will have to do with HTML5 video playback, so far I am not impressed with the the way that FF is handling it.

When I used IE the warning was a constant annoyance.
The slow down I experienced was closing the warning.
With Opera so far so good on not having this type warning.
