Fireburner not showing Lite-On speeds?

I’m trying out Fireburner 2.1.7. With my Plextor 24/10/40A the program shows every availble write speed - from 1-24x. With my Lite-On 48126S (2SOD firmware), the only two write speeds available are 1x and Max. All other burning programs (Clone, ECDC, Nero) show a complete list of write speeds for the Lite-On. Is this a Fireburner problem or might there be something wrong with the drive?

It shows all Speeds on my Litey.

Current Fireburner version is too old. It doesn’t support the 48125w either.

So are you saying you get the same thing on your machine?

It’s not a big deal because the program works with the Lite-On, but only at 2 speeds. And I can still use it with my Plextor. Besides, my backup of NFS:HP2 was created on my Lite-On with Fireburner and that worked fine.

Yup I get the same thing. BTW 1x must be 4x since that’s the lowest writing speed the 48x writers support.

I think that’s right because 4x is the lowest speed I get with Nero.

In any case, I’m glad I’m not the only one so I thank you for your responses.
