[QUOTE=MysticEyes;2265669]You have to use what the DVD has. In the USA that’s AC3 (2 or multi-channel) and very rarely LPCM. USA releases will not have MP2 sound, that’s a PAL thing.
Rip the segments you want with DVD Shrink, saving to your HD. Then go back to DVD Shrink, here is where you will now add them back and create one DVD of only those segments.
Follow this Guide, in your case use ‘Open files’.
Very nice demo presentation. Unfortunately, no help. The only “Titles” were on the orig. DVDs before I ripped the segments from them, using the “Start and Stop” arrows in DVDShrink.
After ripping, DVDShrink puts them in folders named TS-Video. There are no “Titles” to be found. I used the instructions in the demo, but DVDShrink does not recognize the TS_Video folders at all–it must be looking for “Titles”, and they’re on the orig. disk which is no longer physically in the computers DVD reader/burner, of course.
The only files DVDShrink will open are “images”, like ISOs, which I have been advised to avoid since I’m a DVD burning noob. It will NOT open any other files.
Again, hard to believe this isn’t a very common problem.
