Has he used AWS?

just use clonecd with setting default !!

Profile Game,without modifing any setting?
If so there was AWS active and you didn’t made a 1:1 clone by hardware.
Even 'cause Clone Cd isn’t able to.

Bye

The properties of your cd-recorder at clonecd would have AWS enabled by default. But you only will get a partial working copy in certain devices.

I copying Fifa 2003 with Lg 8320B and Clonecd 4.1.0.1 without AWS

I dont get it, why is having the aws option not a 1:1 copy. If something works with no crack and runs just like the original, how is it not a true copy? I thought clonecd did not modify settings, as that is the goal of its author, otherwise that would be illegal.

Thanks Gordon

Fifa 2003 is a SafeDisc 2.80.

I’ll give it a try with a LiteOn drive,I know it’s been reported as a non working unit for cloning SafeDisc 2.80.

I have been able to make a perfect working back-up of Fifa 2003 with a LiteOn 40125s@48125w (VS08).

Works perfectly

I have cloned Fifa2k3 and NFS6 with Clonecd 4.0.0.1 (too lazy to update) and also cloned AOM and Harry Potter with read-in with CCD and written with alc120.
Liteon 24x .
All work fine everywhere, no AWS used.

i’ve made a copy with clonecd and alcohol. both works on my pc but not in others!

i haven’t any kind of emulation active. i’ve tried to start the game from my toshiba dvd 16x, my liteon burner 48x and from pioneer a04 burner. (i’ve changed fifa cdrom letter with regedit). everytime the copy started and i could play.

but as i said, in other 2 pc the game won’t boot

I had no luck with Clone Cd latest as I wrote…
Instead same image and cd mate made a working copy.
I gave my own copy to test to a friend of mine,I’ll post if works.

Bye

4016 will do it - but not the last two versions. Elby are testing a new release on NFS - I guess it won’t be released until it works.
