FF9 and cloneCD

vbimport

I’m trying to copy a copy of FF9 done whit CloneCD but I have a problem.
My system is:
win 98
motherboard Asus CUV4X whit VIA chipset
Creative CDRW 8432e whit firmware 1a07

CloneCD version is 3023 trial not cracked

I have made the image whit this settings:
1x read
read subchannel data in data track = on

I have wrote the image whit this settings:
RAW DAO mode
1x write
don’t repair subchannel data = on
close last session = on

In this mode the CD doesn’t work in PSX and I can’t open it in windows too

If I use the SAO mode I can open the CD in windows but on PSX stop after the PSX logo whit the black background.

I tryed to change the ElbyCDIO in safe mode, but the result is the same.
I have seen the hardware requirements and tell that my CD is compatibile whit the mode RAW DAO 96 , but in the menu of selection mode there are only RAW DAO and SAO mode.

Can you help me please ?

I think FF9 is extra protected and cannot be copied by CloneCD… I wanted to check www.psxcopyworld.com but it seems to be down :frowning: Maybe they have a patch…

FF9 can ONLY be copied with CloneCD.
Ther are no working patches for this and, as usual, Paradox have given up on making one that works. Just too hard for them.
To copy with CloneCd you use the following settings -

Read to Image
Read Subchannel Data from Data Tracks ON
Read Subchannel Data from Audio Tracks ON

Write with option
Don’t repair subchanel data

Those were the settings he used…
What writing speed did u use?

No they aren’t.
He did not ‘Read Subchannel Data from Audio Tracks ON’
he only read from Data track.
