That’s humorous…I just use the PC hosts edit and that blocks popup ads before it ever loads or if you click on the popup link it dies instantly…

I have a better idea: install decent ad blockers. A pop-up blocker does nothing if a malicous advertisement is loaded directly on a webpage - which the user is intentionally accessing - without opening in a pop-up. Also, tools like Disconnect, and Privacy Badger and help prevent malicouls parties from tracking you.
