Fastest way to access my removable drives in Mandrake and enlightenment desktop?

in mandrake 9 im using enlightenment desktop.

what is the fastest way to access my removable drives?

KDE is much simpler!!

kde is a microsoft windows look alike , enlightment is faster and dares to stand out.

the fasted way to get your removable devices is to mount them in a shell and not even use x.

i prefer the enlightenment desktop

but i dont know how to access my cdrom or burner drives.

i would have like evil entity but i didnt know how to access the cdrom drive to install the update and had no sound driver with it .i see on the evil entity version of enlightenment they have the cdrom drive accessable but when i click on it i had problems.

is there anyway to boot evil e and me?
if i can get the sound drivers working ill use evil e instead of mandrake!

linux is not for the faint hearted.i am completely new to this but there is an extreme satisfaction in figuring out linux.im working on it .searching the web,and linux forums.thank you so much for your help!

mount cdrom

and your cdrom is mounted.

if iā€™m not mistaken under /dev/cdrom (or cdrom1).
