thanks dean, I forgot to mention that one of the changes from 1P to 2P was that sputtering was added on 2P after dean and myself noticed the lighter coloring on the hub, LOL…so we caught the 1st flight to Dubai got with FTI engineers and had them add sputtering .HAHAHA
Yeah, and Jim fell asleep on the flight over there and snored soooo loud they almost turned the plane around and sent us back .
But seriously. Fred Perez, the man in charge of FTI/Falcon’s discs in the US deserves a lot of credit for his approach to customer relations. Rather than just deciding for us what we want in the US market, he has been asking for feedback on potential new products BEFORE they finalize the production and bring them over here. He’s actually trying to give us what we want, rather than sell us what they want .
With Fred at the helm over here, I think we are going to continue to see Falcon bringing us media that actually suits our needs. And because they are focused on producing professional-level media(no coasters allowed :)) under the Falcon brand in the US, I don’t expect to see the the gradual creep towards mediocrity we’ve too often seen with other brands.
Another 1P to 2P comparison(yes, we know they’re all 2P process discs, but its a shorthand Jim and I came up with while comparing results during testing , ). And a big thanks to Jim for his time and DL-burning expertise in helping to test these .
