Fake Blank CD Image

Ok, here’s what I’m trying to do. I’m using a program(Rhapsody) to download music that will allow you to burn the DRM protected proprietary format they use to a CD. I know that I can then take the CDs and rip them to MP3s. This, however, is a very costly way to turn their format into MP3s which is what I’m ultimately trying to do.
I’m looking for a way to fool my computer into thinking that a blank CD is inserted into a virtual CD/DVD-R drive that I have using Daemon-Tools or MagicISO. I’ve tried everything I could with these programs alone but I can’t figure out how to do it. If there is a fake blank CD image out there I could download and mount using these programs, that’s all I would need.
please help.

Use CD-RW.

again, those cost, even if they are reusable. plus they’re not all that reliable, they can’t be rewriten on forever.

Nothing, absolutely nothing is forever…
