phr0gster used our newssubmit to tell us that advocates speaking in name of the consumer in a DRM meeting, weren’t allowed to talk or ask questions. DRM or Digital Rights Managment is a new invention…

As much as I hate to say it, I’m against the free rights activists on this one. They were out of line. Example: “Mr. Valenti, could you explain the reason for CSS?” “That’s not part of the itenerary, but alright. CSS was imp…” “Whatever. And what about region locking?” “Because…” “I think I’ve proved my point.” etc.

“SirDavidGuy”… we all know that the majority of people concerned about out rights are at home doing it the right way ( letters to pollies, legal rallys etc)not getting their 15 minutes of fame, but they often serve the purpose of bringing it to light for the greater public. By the same token the DRM could have shown they were at least a little sympathetic to the other side by inviting speakers, they chose not to, thereby showing their arrogance. They have drawn the line, the kickoff is about to take place…:7

I’m not the only one who’s extremely pissed off, nor am I the only one who’s deeply disturbed by America’s quickening slip toward fascism. We should stage a MASSIVE organized boycott and campaign of civil disobedience.
