I completely removed the Lenovo Restore partition from my desktop years ago .
IIRC it would restore to the out of box condition. With all the crapware you don't want & expired so most of it won't work.
However since the Lenovo Restore partition used F2 & worked outside of Windows .
There was no need for Administrator privileges . Unless you set up an Administrator password in the BIOS.
IIRC you can wipe the hard drive & it will leave the Lenovo Restore partition .
You may want to try & wipe(erase) just your OS partition.
To wipe the Lenovo Restore partition I had to use an old software called PTEDIT32.
Then set the partition to a different type . So it is hard to erase even on purpose.
Meaning using most software to erase this hard drive will leave this partition alone.
Once you get the W10 OS partition wiped there shouldn't be anything there to send the message or block security.
