EZCD files when it was never installed

I have a very curious problem. I have EZ CD creator files listed in my registry, but I never had EZCD on my computer.

Anyone know why?

are you sure that those were EZ CD creato files?

Are you perhaps using Windows XP? The write engine in Windows XP was developped by Roxio, the same company who made Easy CD Creator.

Will the write files in Windows XP mess with other programs? I read that EZCD can mess with other writing programs.

No they won’t normally although there were some problems in the beginning. You can (if you want to be sure) disable the Windows XP write engine. Read here how to do that…
