Download/install xnview. Use Windows Explorer to right click a .jpg file (etc) and set xnview as the default (open with - then choose default prog to open with). I like Win 8 Pro, but I don’t care for metro much, (so it gets very little use on my PC). I just go to the desktop as soon as Win 8 loads.
